Catalist is a small, intensely talented team of creative thinkers, designers, and programmers with specialists in Design, Information Architecture, Technology Development, Photography and Search Engine Marketing. eCommerce - Catalist ActionCatalog™:

Catalist's real strength is eCommerce, both B2C and B2B. Since 2000, we have produced successful eCommerce sites in the jewelry, housewares, and home furnishings industries. Our new Catalist ActionCatalog™ solution is based on the open source Joomla CMS (Content Management System) and VirtueMart open source shopping cart and MySQL database. We have custom coded (in PHP) our own templates, applications, and unique adaptations of these solutions into a customizable package. The result is a solution that has the cost effectiveness of a stock template solution with the flexibility, look and feel of a totally customized high end website. There is one more important benefit, rapid deployment.

With the Catalist ActionCatalog™ self service admin tools, clients are able to manage their own website updates, add and delete products and images, create new categories and subcategories, and even implement their own meta data and Pay for Performance advertising. Order processing and Order tracking round out some of the features and order data can be synchronized for direct import to an existing off line-business accounting package.

Image Processing / Photography:

Because photographic images are so important in conducting eCommerce today, we provide advanced image processing and image enhancement services for clients who produce their own photography. We can also provide full-service professional studio photography when needed or work with your photographer. High quality image processing starts with precise, hand drawn clipping paths. We have a team of highly trained PhotoShop specialists working off shore that can turn average images into great images. Whether you have one image or one thousand images, we can do the job professionally, affordably and on time.
